We felt completely at home in the Alpenlodge. The hosts are very personable and provide competent information about Zermatt. We got an upgrade and really enjoyed the room with a view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast was also very nice and it has everything you need. You also have a wonderful view of the Matterhorn from the breakfast table. We would go back to the Alpenlodge at any time and have warmly recommended this accommodation to family and friends.
